Music: The hollow ~ A Perfect Circle
Sasuke sat up, taking in his surroundings, the darkness enveloped around him. Looking around he found a light, dim, but it was there. Not at the end of a long tunnel, or somewhere he could walk, no. The light was above him, he was in a hole, deep, dark and alone. His name was echoing down the walls to him, hands outstreched at the far away opening, people reaching down to try and save him from this darkness, from being alone. At first Sasuke would reach up to them, hoping that maybe one time, despite the vast distance between their outstreched fingers, they would touch, their hands would lock together and he would be lifted. This was not the case. No matter who, or how long they tried, no one could reach him. He was alone. Maybe he diserved to be in this hole, he could live here, he could die here, yet he was thankful for the ones reaching for him, even when he tried to end this horrid life he was living. Appearently this was his fate, to be in a dark hole, alone and in pain, never able to end his own suffering and just out of reach to be saved, happy, loved. His whole body yearned to be touched, to feel something other than this cold.
Dark eyes looked up in time to see the light leaving him. This was it. No, wait. Sasuke scooted back when the body landed next to him. A bright smile on the boys face as he sat up and rubbed his head as he stood. Sasuke looked up at the other, amaized, but it was when the blonde offered his hand to him that he truely was at an awe. What was this? He gave the other his hand and was pulled to his feet, warmth radiating from the simple touch, Sasuke's body almost melting. What...? Had he jumped down here? Offered himself to the same fate at he was currently living? Why? Dark eyes searched the bright blue that were piercing the darkness. He had come to help; to do the one thing everyone else had not. Naruto had thrown himself into the darkness to save him; joined Sasuke to help get him out. He was pulled into the others arms, a tight grip around his small body, warmth against his cold skin. Slowly his pain melted away, everything in this hole didn't matter anymore. He couldn't help but hold onto Naruto, pressing himself into the loving embrace and returning it. Sasuke suddenly felt something for the first time in a long time. He wasn't alone.... He wasn't alone anymore.
